Have been to a few Hennies but this one is the best! We were cutting it fine to order food before the 12:00 Train to… Groot-Brak and wanted a bite from the kitchen, the waiter thoughtfully suggested pizzas as the kitchen was inundated with breakfast orders, but the pizza side could whip us up a pizza quick enough. Big ups to you young man!Atmosphere is great, food is excellent. they will see us again!read more
Sadly we didn’t experience “the Hennies experience “ as we were told… Hatenbos one is the best in the Garden Route. … Food was good and service was average. When we enquired about so many people drinking with their right hands and pointing it out to our waitress she just said let’s just pretend we didn’t see it. It was a Friday evening and fairly busy but not once did we hear a whistle blow or anything other than the music.read more
The restaurant was easily found among the residential properties and has a gravel parking lot. The restaurant has a… sports oriented feel with each tv illiterates a different sport. The house rules were interesting, fun and is sure to create a good atmosphere. I ordered the Hennie’s burger with a pineapple daiquiri, which was one of the better burgers i have eaten. The food arrived within a reasonable time and was accompanied with unique sauces and spices. There is a children’s play area as well. The prices are a little on tye higher end, but you get what you pay for. Overall a good experience.read more

Well done to an awesome establishment. Original theme and food options. Visited after our train ride and only wanted to… order drinks. Menu looked so enticing, and the ‘bar rules’ are original. We ended up ordering food. Lovely experience with good, friendly service in Afrikaans. Will definitely visit again and comes highly recommended.read more
Recently visited this place. Recommend this restaurant. They have a great atmosphere for everybody. Perfect for sunrise… breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Friendly staff and a great variety of options to choose from the menu.First-time visit whilst on holiday for dinner, we enjoyed the fresh air next to the train rail and we were very satisfied with the food quality, atmosphere, and service so much so that we went back for breakfast the following morning on our way back home,Happy to see there are more branches closer to home. The food is very nice. But the service is very slow. Understand that the kitchen is busy. But the waiters can atleast… make sure the glasses stay full. Had to wait 15 minutes just to get waiter to get a roundThe service fee is good and well but it causes waiters to attend the larger tables more than the smaller ones.read more
Not being a “d**s” and in favour of upliftment and positivity I have to mention that the beef burger I was served was… far too dry and salty. Furthermore, we waited for more than half an hour for our food. Can this Hennie’s branch deal with large groups of customers?? Hope to visit again and be surprised with a better experience!!read more
Wow, what an amazing 2 weeks!! Fantastic location, accommodating morning and afternoon sun with a jacuzzi at back and… AMAZING sea view at the front!! Also very conveniently situated from town, shops, harbor and The Point. Large comfortable rooms and beautiful state of the art kitchen!!read more
Impressive place to go to and fun😜Like the house rules it makes the experience more enjoyable. The food was… superb in taste. The waitress was very kind and friendly and was there when we needed her. Overall the toilets was clean and everything was supplied that needs to be there. The overall spirit inside the restaurant was one of Happyness.
