I would not recommend the “New Hennies Middelburg” to anyone looking for Fast Service and Organised Assitance.1. You… need to go searching for your waiter when you need to order something else as they do not tend to / follow up with costumers timeously.2. THE EXACT SAME PREVIOUS LOCATIONS MENU is still Used and the Cocktails are charged at the SAME PRICE, yet they are now suddenly served in “Kiddies Milkshake Glasses” upon enquiry, we were advised that SOME of the Cocktails are Served in this SMALLER Serving?3. Parking space is a DISASTER! We have been “ENTRAPPED” In the furthest part of the Parking Ground for about 20 Minutes now due to an incompetent Driver who blocked the “Drive Through Passage” and the staff are not very helpfull in locating the Owner of this Vehicle.In a final attempt, we request that the 3rd gate (Furthest to the Right against the White Wall) be unlocked, but they do not have a Key to Open this Gate.So my worst fear would be that you’re kinda STUCK IN CASE OF A PERSONAL OR EVEN MEDICAL EMERGENCY when you land yourself in the unfortunate situation of being Parked in with absolutely No one on the Staff / Management Team to assist.In the end, we ourselves requested another customers assistance to move their vehicle out of the way in order for us to eventually get out.@ Hennies Middelburg MP, you guys have somehow completely changed the atmosphere and experience we all so loved into something somewhat unpleasant…read more

Much needed!However, it pains me to say this: the service and food are absolute crap. It’s not just us – I’ve heard gripes from a couple of other tables, too. It seems like you either need a management overhaul or more staff on board.Working in the mines also over the festive time, especially during the festive rush, we understand that quality can slip when under pressure. But just like us, if you make poor decisions, it costs – in your case, customer satisfaction and business. We aren’t there for charity, we’re paying customers. Quality is paramount, and we’d rather wait for decent grub than pay for sub-par food.Ratchet up your game, Hennies. You are better than this.read more
Middelburg Takes the Cake 🎂 (But Not in a Good Way!)Dear Hennie’s Middelburg Team,Greetings from Cape Town!… 🌍 You know, we Capetonians are known for being a little slow and chilled—probably from all that mountain air and ocean breeze. But wow, Middelburg really takes the cake on this one… and not just because it’s a Hennie’s cake! 😂During my visit, I couldn’t help but notice a few things:1️⃣ Waiting for the waiter felt like waiting for Table Mountain to shrink—endless! ⏳2️⃣ When the drinks finally arrived, it was like the waiter went on a treasure hunt and came back with only half the loot 🍹🕵️♂️.3️⃣ The portions were a bit on the slim side—did the kitchen go on a diet without telling us? 🍔➡️🍤Now don’t get me wrong, I love Hennie’s (who doesn’t?), and I know y’all can do better.
