I am a big fan of Hennies and enjoy the atmosphere. Unfortunately we had a very bad time at this Hennies. Our waitress… was very rude. When she brought our drinks she only but it down on the side of the table and walked away. After having 2 of the drink orders wrong. Every time she passed our table and we got her attention she would just say I’m coming and disappear for another 10min. She never came around to ask us if we want anything else to drink. I ordered “wiele met n W” 8 pizza rolls. When we got our food. The pizza rolls was so small and half done that the waitress apologized and immediately told me there is another batch on the way.. We got to hennies at 11 to eat brunch. We only received our food at 1 due to our bad service.read more
Very bad experience at Hennies Mosselbay. Tables sticky, paper menues dirty. Went on a Wednesday for the pizza special,… just as we want to order the waiter said there is no specials over the festive season and menu variety was also smaller. Things like this should be explained to the customers before they are seated. Hennies Kimberley Northern Cape much better service and food.read more
Very difficult to review Hennies. Our employer booked the deck for our year end function as we are 30 people and did… not want to irritate other guests with our private work function, only to find our booking request had been ignored after very clear communications. They refused to honor the booking and so we aLL left. Sorry Hennie’s; as per a colleague, you broke your own first rule!!!read more
I had a mixed experience during my visit to Hennies on Monday. Initially, our waitress provided good service, and we… were satisfied with our meal. However, as we were waiting for our ride, the service took a disappointing turn. Two waiters were openly discussing their impatience with patrons in a language they assumed we didn’t understand. They expressed frustration, with one saying, “When are these people leaving?” and another correcting them, mentioning that customers are here to spend their money, to which the first replied, “Not all of them.”I found this to be very unprofessional and uncomfortable, especially since their conversation was loud enough for us to hear. As someone who speaks vernacular, I shouldn’t have had to hear such negative remarks, especially as a paying customer. This experience left a sour impression after what started as a pleasant visit. I hope this feedback encourages better staff training on professionalism and respect towards all patrons.read more
