We therefore suggest that you contact your branch, should you wish to visit a Hennie’s later than the closing time on that day. Our normal trading time on a Sunday, depending on the amount of patrons is around 5pm.

The new store looks amazing but the service was really slow. We didn’t eat just went for a couple of drinks and waited… very long for our first round. It was a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not busy at all.read more
We used to stop at GrumpyGriller on a Friday if we were in George so we decided to try Hennie’s as they have replaced… GrumpyGriller.The pulled pork burger was very nice, but my 200g rump steak was terrible, it was cold, tough and the smallest 200g I’ve ever seen, the steak had been cut, I presume the person at the grill wanted to see if it was cooked?? I ordered medium rare,my steak was medium. I don’t send food back as 90% of the time, you just get worse service , but I won’t go backThe door between the smoking area and the non smoking area was open???read more
The place had a good vibe with the customers that were there.The service however was absolutely horrible, had to ask… multiple times for our waiter, waited over 20 minutes just for 4 beers we ordered, when we ordered food they said it would take 20 – 40 minutes, we waited more than an hour and the place was not full! Absolutely love the franchise and the vibe but was extremely disappointed in the service at this Henniesread more

The mood shifts depending on when you go, but it’s consistently a great spot to hang out, especially with a group. The… playful rules, like using the left hand to drink beer, bring a fun element. I also experienced the thrilling atmosphere of a rugby match night 🏉.read more
I thoroughly enjoy Hennies, this one is my local, always a vibe, great with friends, to watch sport and with kids in… non smoking. They’ve got fun rules, might have slipped on it a little bit, but sure the whistle blowing will be up to standard in no timeread more

Such an amazing vibe in this restaurant/bar. Great food, amazing service, and there really is something for everyone.… Be advised, you need to adhere to pub rules such as only drinking with your left hand or you will need to down your drink 🤣read more
We went to watch rugby and the pub was full but they made a plan to accommodate us and others that arrived after… us.The service was really good, staff friendly and the atmosphere tops.No smoking zone means No Smoking but there is an area for both smokers and children.George really needed a pub of this nature.Long may Hennie’s remain the pub that it is.read more
