Trevino as a waiter you rock as a salesman you are amazing. Thank you for the awesome service and the start of the merch collection. Keep up the great work. And compliments to the amazing kitchen staff..yummmmy
What a place to be. If you have a choice, request a waiter by the name Trevino, what a lad. Effortlessly became the best waiter I have ever had the pleasure of being served by.Best drinks and best food in town. The specials and prices are out of this world and the atmosphere is matched by none other.
I’ve been in the mood for an Eisbein for quite a while now and everyone has been recommending Hennies,We got Mr. delivery, And an utter disappointment. The eisbein on the menu is described as crispy, but what I got in fact, was a soft piece of fat the entire eisbein is a soft piece of fat. There is not one even one crispy part.Definitely not worth spending your money on this.My question is what kind of chef that is proud of what they do. Would be happy to send something like this out to a customerAs I’m writing this I am putting the eisbein in my air fryer I’m sure I’ll get better results. Not happy at all.
We all had a fantastic day at Hennies Paarl! All was good, service, food, company and neighbours!!!
My girlfriend and I had a great breakfast here on Sunday. The service was excellent and food portion very generous 😋
Went there for the first time to wat h the world cup, and even on such a busy night, the service and the food were of the highest standards. Our waiting staff was super friendly and the quality of the food was exceptional. We will deflation be back.
Excellent atmosphere and delectable cuisine. I’m particularly fond of the entertaining quirks they incorporate, such as the rule of drinking with the left hand or facing a fine. Our server, Marco (apologies for not recalling his last name), provided exceptional service. Our orders arrived promptly, and he attentively catered to our needs. In addition, it happened to be one of our friend’s birthdays, and Marco graciously surprised him with a complimentary shot, complete with a “happy birthday” message inscribed in chocolate sauce on the accompanying plate. Their enticing specials make me inclined to become a frequent patron in the near future.
Our second time around and our food was even better then the first time.Well done.My steak was really medium rare and my veg was hot as it should be.Our waiter Lindie was amazing, attentive and very informative. Thanks Hennnies Paarl!!!!!!!!!You rock keep it upCandice
As I walked into Hennies with our friends and kids in tow, I thought that this would have been the most amazing place to go to, had I been in my mid twenties… Walk a little deeper, I thought, these nooks a crannies will make for a perfect date spot, got to see the bar and got myself feeling like staying and watching a game of rugby. The true oasis for a toddler parent however, lies on the other side. Completely separate from the “main” restaurant, so no need to apologize for unruly loud children, an amazing play ground and a small room with games in. The menu had something for everyone, and the food we did have, was delicious. The cocktail menu made me want to stay longer, but kids… Will definitely be back
Lovely atmosphere! Good vibes! Amazing service!!! Thank you Eugene jys awesome!!!
What a unique experience. Loved the staff interaction with customers using their “Rules”. Great vibes and great fun, definitely a place to watch the rugby or F1. Just don’t forget the rules 😉
Best place to watch sport as a family. We visited to watch a World Cup Rugby match. As a mom of toddlers Hennie’s were so much better than what I expected. They really went the extra mile to cater for families with young kids. Plenty of seating at the kids play area with tables inside and outside. TV screens all over to make it easy to watch sport. Scooters for the kids, a ball pit and lovely R5 game’s area. Baby change area in the ladies bathroom. The area was filled with families and kids running around playing but under supervision at all times. I felt so comfortable just letting my children play while we could watch a bit of rugby as a family. Cameras all over. A kid area manager also keeps an extra eye on all the happenings in case a parent misses something. Lovely and safe atmosphere.I can really recommend and wish them success as they recognised a need to cater better for families with young kids.
Love the outside ambiance of this place. The on the ball friendly waitress made it so much more special.
Starters was cold and under cook. Main wasn’t correct send bad and when food came back the part that was wrong was just scratched out and it was cold. They brought us a shot to say sorry.
Nice noisy relaxing atmosphere. Awesome to wind down after a long day.
Always great to stop at Hennie’s Restaurant any time during the day for a quick bite or a formal seating and a proper meal.Great vibe always
Overall just had a bad experience. Moody staff and and managers. Not a very good impression for 1st time customers. Will definitely not go back
Awesome place!Delicious food!!Amazing atmosphere!!The best service!!Will definitely come back again and again!!!
Have been a Paarl local for a long time. Its a nice sports bar, I give them that. But being a predominantly a family oriented town Hennie’s here feels out of place and need to do a lot to get things right. Start off with at least good coffee and not letting your customers wait +45min to get served with drinks. There is also always something wrong… if its not the service, its the TV’s and the only comments from the managers are always “we did not expect to be so busy”. It feels like the 6 managers on the floor are trying but need to do more to make it work for the community. If they can do that, and provide proper coffee, sure they’ll make it.
Hennie’s Paarl is a relaxing place where you can have a good meal and a ice cold beer. Wide range of food options and drinks. Good service with staff that is always ready to help. Fun place to have a quick drink or sit for something to eat. They have a bar section and alot of seating inside and outside. Excellent service and friendly
Very very nice place! Very good food, very good location, very good vibes. Excellent price for what you get. Only small thing is there is a rule which says you have to whistle to get service(I guess as a joke as some of the rules are), there are no whistles at the table where you sit. Which means we sat down, ordered drinks waited for like 15-20mins to get our drinks, we almost stood up to go fetch someone. The other thing is, 10% gets physically added to your bill for “TIPS”. So you can’t just add like 5% or lets say R50 or what not. So if you had bad service, could you get that removed? Luckily the service was good enough for us not to ask about that. I’d say the 2 points above are the only things that can be improved. With that said….. I love the place 🙂 Thank you so much!
