We had to ask other waiters to find him for us every time. (It wasn’t even busy), and then he got a 10% tip for the minimum of work done at the end!The hamburger was of an acceptable standard, but the chips were terrible! Not fully cooked!The eishbein was really small for the price charged and compared to other places we had it before.We were sitting right next to the children’s playing area where there are signs that no smoking is allowed.Customers across us were smoking merely away, and not any of the waiters or themanager said anything.This place will not see me again.read more

Waiters add drinks to the order claiming you have requested it earlier on , and was just busy therefore bringing it… later- saying you forgot that you have ordered it. Really unethical. Even if the rest of the people at the table, clearly stated it was never ordered.read more
We came here for some drinks, and the vibe was amazing, this is the type of place you bring all your friends and spend… the whole night there. The staff is amazing as well, so please try it out next time you and your friends want a great place for dinner and drinks.read more
Worst Hennies experience. Visited Rustenburg and went for dinner. Half the group got their food 30minutes later than… the others. There was no red wine in stock. Got told no crumbed mushrooms available either but we were charged for it when we got the bill. When I paid, I was told my transaction did not go through. I tapped a second time. Checked my bank statement the following day and I was billed twice. Went to the restaurant personally before we left Rustenburg. Manager said they will process the refund. Despite many messages, telephonic conversations, promises to refund, nothing recieved back yet. Taking legal steps now.read more

The manager is racist only ask white tables if they are served seeing very well that they are eating and drinking and he would ignore your dry black table unless you are with white people. The staff demands that you pay them in cash so they keep the money for themselves, I have experienced this with 3 different staff who seem to be working together and upon refusal they always ignore to serve me whenever I’m at the restaurant, one of them was even aggressive on demand and seemed drunk and high, this 3 are from one country and their plan seem well thought. I wouldn’t recommend Hennies to anyone I know or care about!! Utterly disappointed!!read more

After declining alcohol, the waiter tried to sell us shooters a little later. He clearly does not understand how to read a table. Definitely not a good first impression. My first time at Hennies Rustenburg and we’re asked to get up from the table we… went to sit at (which was empty by the way). We then were sent to the restaurant side where we had to wait for someone to eventually assist us with chairs to sit by one of the 2 open tables…The weather was terrible and they can’t even close the door. You can’t enjoy a meal while the wind is blowing everything away. Had to wait more than 5min at the bar, before someone attempts to ask if they can help.read more
Been to Hennies 3 times. The first time our food was great and service was good. Second time it took forever for them… to bring our food and we were about ready to leave without eating when it finally arrived. Third time service was very slow again, our food was cold. I’m very disappointed.read more
